Spill Contingency Plan

Lecture based this course allows the participants first hand experience in dealing with others to respond to a spill. In many cases, spill responders are poorly equipped with the critical information about chemical hazards and response protocols. Each week the national news covers yet another loss due to a plant or transportation accident that was made more dangerous by a poor response action. The hands on portion of the class offers a great way for students to share ideas and concerns in building a their facility a custom spill response program.
